Ruffle Cake Pop Cookies



Delectable ruffle cake pop cookies that combine chocolate and sprinkle flavors in a delightful treat.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup colorful sprinkles

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

In a bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt

In another bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy

Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined

Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just incorporated

Stir in the chocolate chips

Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls

Place them on the prepared baking sheet

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set

Remove from the oven and immediately press colorful sprinkles onto the tops of the cookies

Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely
