Apple Teriyaki Salmon with Brussels Sprouts



This Apple Teriyaki Salmon with Brussels Sprouts recipe combines the sweet tanginess of apple with the savory flavors of teriyaki sauce, creating a delightful dish that is both healthy and delicious.

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish
  • Sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 400F 200C

In a small bowl, mix together the teriyaki sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, garlic, and ginger

Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the teriyaki marinade over them, making sure they are coated evenly

Marinate for 15-20 minutes

Meanwhile, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet

Spread them out in a single layer

Place the marinated salmon fillets on the baking sheet alongside the Brussels sprouts

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and the Brussels sprouts are tender and caramelized

Garnish the salmon with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving
